Tina Weger, OTR/L  ATRIC is a Licensed Occupational Therapist and  Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Certified.  She is a certified swim instructor as well as adapted aquatics certified.  She is passionate about creating a safe and positive relationship for children with disabilities and water.  Swimming, boating, and going to the beach is an everyday, recreational activities for children living in the Suncoast.  A child with a disability should not miss out on these social opportunities because of fear of the water or safety concerns.  Combining both her  Occupational Therapy experience  and aquatic therapy training, she is able to develop specific plans for each child to maximize the water experience.   She has taught a variety of children water safety,  water acclimation skills and swim skills in the local area.  Children who are were once fearful of the water  are now swimming and enjoying the recreational water activities with their families.
